Biography
Aaron Tull is an English back-row forward who joined the Bristol Bears academy after coming through club rugby with Dings Crusaders. Born in March 2004, he represents the younger generation of forwards being developed inside one of the Premiership's most progressive academy setups.
The Bears have made a habit of identifying back-row prospects from outside the traditional pathway and giving them an environment in which to develop. Tull's profile fits that approach: an athletic, energetic loose forward whose value lies in the willingness to engage in collision work, contribute around the breakdown and carry hard into traffic when the forward pattern demands it.
Senior Premiership rugby remains one of the most physically demanding club competitions in the world, and back-row forwards stepping up are required to absorb heavy minutes while maintaining work rate. For a player at Tull's stage of development, day-to-day exposure to Bristol's senior environment — and the standards set by the established back-rowers around him — is one of the most important factors shaping his progression.
His longer-term trajectory rests on continuing to build consistent club performance, with the academy-to-senior pathway offering a clear route into the matchday picture for forwards who keep raising their physical and technical baseline. With his frame, mobility and appetite for the work, Tull has the foundations Bristol's coaching staff value in their loose forwards.
