Adam Beard

Adam Beard is a Welsh international lock born on 7 January 1996, widely regarded as one of Wales' most dependable second-rowers of his generation. Developed through the Ospreys academy, he progressed to become a long-standing leader of their forward pack and a consistent presence in the Wales Test setup. Beard combines a tall, athletic frame with genuine aerial skill, making him a trusted lineout caller and a significant threat at opposition throws. His defensive work rate and willingness to do the unseen, hard yards of forward play have earned him the respect of successive coaches. He was part of the Wales squad that lifted the 2021 Six Nations title and earned selection for the British & Irish Lions tour of South Africa that same year, establishing him as a central figure in Welsh rugby's international engine room.
