Biography

Born on 18 October 2004, Adam Mountaga Bouaré is a back-row forward who graduated through the academy system at Montpellier Hérault Rugby. A flanker by trade, he is built for the contact areas, combining a willingness to compete over the ball at the breakdown with the mobility to link play in the loose. His game is founded on a high defensive work rate and an appetite for physical confrontation, traits the Top 14 club prizes in its loose forwards. Still in the early stages of his senior career, Bouaré represents one of the younger prospects Montpellier has promoted from its development pathway, and he continues to push for greater involvement in the matchday squad. As a maturing forward, his focus remains on adding consistency and physical conditioning to a skill set that already lends itself to the demands of French club rugby. For a player of his age, the trajectory is encouraging, and Montpellier will be hopeful that the qualities he has shown in the academy can be carried into a sustained run at senior level over the coming seasons.
