Biography
An academy graduate at Leinster Rugby, Alex Soroka is an Irish flanker whose game is built on athleticism, physicality and a relentless work rate. Born on 19 February 2001, he brings the kind of energy at the breakdown that back-row forwards are prized for, competing hard for possession, covering his defensive duties and carrying strongly in contact. Soroka has come through one of the most productive academy systems in European rugby, and his role in the province's deep back-row stocks is to provide dynamic cover and genuine competition for a starting jersey. His strengths lie in the physical side of the game: tackling, jackaling and the stamina to influence both halves of a match. As with many young forwards developing at a club of Leinster's depth, patience and consistency are key, and Soroka continues to work toward establishing himself as a regular option in a fiercely contested part of the field.
