Biography

Bath Rugby's forward pack features Arthur Green, a back-row forward developing within the Premiership club's setup. Born in March 2004, Green plays at flanker, one of the most physically demanding positions on the field and one that asks for relentless effort at the breakdown and in the tackle. The role suits a player willing to do the hard, often unseen work: contesting rucks, making cover tackles and providing a reliable presence as a link between forwards and backs. Loose forwards in the English game are judged on their consistency and their ability to influence the contact area, slowing opposition ball while securing their own side's possession. As one of the younger forwards in the squad, Green is at a formative stage of his career, building the physical conditioning and tactical understanding required to make an impact at senior level. He represents part of Bath's ongoing development of homegrown forward talent as the club looks to strengthen its options in the back row.
