Biography

Among the youngest forwards on the RC Toulon roster, Arthur Maza is a back-row prospect who was born on 18 June 2007. Emerging through the club's youth system on the Côte d'Azur, he represents the next generation of loose forwards being developed at one of the Top 14's most high-profile clubs. Maza's game is built on the fundamentals that French rugby demands of its back-rowers: a strong tackling base, diligent support play and a readiness to compete for possession in the contact area. As a teenager at a club stocked with established internationals, his immediate pathway is one of patient development — learning behind senior professionals while adding the physical conditioning required to make the step up to the professional game. His promise lies in his appetite for the contest and his work rate around the gain line. With youth firmly on his side, Maza has the time and the environment to grow into a dependable squad forward, and Toulon's coaching staff will be watching how his physical maturity develops alongside the potential he has already shown in the academy ranks.
