Asaeli Pacolo

Outside back Asaeli Pacolo brings pace and attacking instinct to US Montauban in France's Pro D2. Born on 20 August 2006, the young back-three player is comfortable on either wing or at fullback, where his speed and willingness to attack space make him a useful offensive option for the club. Pacolo's strengths are his acceleration and his finishing. He looks to inject himself into the attacking line, threatens defenders out wide and offers a try-scoring threat when given room to run. From fullback he adds another dimension as a counter-attacker, able to launch from deep and exploit broken-field situations. As one of the squad's younger backs, Pacolo is still building the consistency and defensive maturity that define established Pro D2 performers, but his natural attacking gifts are evident.
