Biography

A graduate of the Racing 92 academy, Auguste Albuisson is a young loosehead prop working his way through the demanding world of French front-row play. Born on 10 March 2008, he is among the youngest forwards on the club's books, and his profile is firmly that of a prospect in the early stages of development. The loosehead role he is learning is one of the most technical in the game, calling for a stable, powerful scrummaging platform alongside an increasing contribution in the loose through carries and tackles. Racing 92, one of the Top 14's leading clubs, provide an environment in which a young prop can be shaped by exposure to experienced internationals in training and matchday squads. For Albuisson, the path ahead is about physical maturation, accumulating scrummaging know-how and earning the senior minutes that turn academy promise into a professional career. It is an early but encouraging stage for a forward coming through one of France's most ambitious set-ups.
