Austin Durbridge

Coming through the Australian junior pathway, Austin Durbridge is a promising young forward who has worked his way into the NSW Waratahs' plans. Born on 17 September 2005, he is an energetic and physical presence in the pack, valued for his appetite for the contact area, his industry around the field and his commitment in defence. Durbridge has represented Australia at under-20 level, an early marker of his potential, and he brings the kind of youthful drive and dynamism that adds depth and competition to the Waratahs' forwards. Whether contributing from the start or injecting energy off the bench, he looks to make his mark with strong carries, hard work at the breakdown and a willingness to do the tight, physical graft that forward play demands. Still in the formative stages of his senior career, Durbridge is a developing talent intent on establishing himself in Super Rugby Pacific.
