Bartholome Sanson

Bartholome Sanson, born 2 June 2005, is a young French back-row forward on the books of Top 14 club Lyon Olympique Universitaire. A product of the LOU development system, he is one of several academy players pushing for senior opportunities in a Lyon squad that continues to blood youth alongside its experienced internationals. Sanson offers mobility and tackle workload typical of a modern flanker, with his progression likely to come through Espoirs rugby and selected senior appearances as the staff manage his game time. Still building a professional profile, he represents part of the pipeline the club hopes will sustain its Top 14 and European campaigns in the coming seasons.
