Benat Sarraude is a teenage French forward emerging from the academy at Aviron Bayonnais, the proud Basque club of the Top 14. Born on 14 August 2006, he is very much at the beginning of his professional journey, having progressed through the club's youth pathway. Sarraude's profile is that of a robust, hard-working forward who can contribute in the set piece and add physicality to the pack. At this early stage, his role centres on development — building the strength, conditioning and game understanding required to compete in one of the toughest domestic leagues in the world.
