Biography

Few scrum-halves bring the pedigree that Brad Weber carries into a half-back contest. Born on 17 January 1991, the New Zealander spent the bulk of his career with the Chiefs in Super Rugby before joining Stade Français Paris, adding All Blacks experience to the French side's resources. Weber earned international honours with New Zealand and is remembered for marking his Test debut with a try in 2015. His game is defined by a lightning-quick service, sniping breaks around the ruck and a relentless defensive work rate that belies his size. A natural organiser, he provides tempo and veteran leadership, steering his forwards and managing the pace of a match. That combination of speed, experience and competitiveness has made him a trusted presence at scrum-half throughout his career.
