Biography

A product of Limerick and the Munster academy, Calvin Nash has developed into one of the most reliable wings in Irish rugby. Born on 8 August 1997, he came through the province's underage system and made his senior Munster debut as a teenager, going on to become a long-serving member of the squad. His consistent form was rewarded with international recognition: Nash made his Ireland debut against Italy in August 2023 and quickly established himself, starting throughout Ireland's 2024 Six Nations title-winning campaign and crossing for his first international try. A strong, balanced runner, Nash offers more than just finishing. His carrying out of the back field, aerial work and defensive reliability make him a well-rounded outside back rather than simply a try-scorer, though his eye for the line remains a key weapon. For Munster he has been a mainstay of the back three across the United Rugby Championship and European competition, and his blend of power and composure has made him a trusted option at both club and Test level.
