Biography

Quick, ambitious and still finding his feet in the professional game, Charles Laloi is a winger who came through the academy ranks at Stade Français Paris. Born on 31 July 2003, he is a developing talent within the club's wider squad, using his pace and finishing to press for opportunities in a competitive backline. Laloi's strengths lie in his acceleration and his ability to exploit space out wide, qualities that make him a useful option across the back three. At this stage of his career he is focused on establishing himself, providing cover and impact when called upon while continuing to refine the all-round elements of his game. The step up from academy rugby to the Top 14 is significant, and like many young backs Laloi must add physical strength and tactical maturity to his natural attributes. What is clear is the raw material: speed, an eye for the line, and the willingness to take his chance when it comes. As he gains experience within the Stade Français structure, his role looks set to grow, and he represents the kind of homegrown prospect the Parisian club has long sought to nurture.
