Daniel Bizuwu

A product of the Section Paloise academy, Daniel Bizuwu has worked his way into the senior set-up at the Top 14 club based in Pau. The France-born flanker, born on 29 August 2001, is a loose forward whose game is built around relentless effort at the breakdown and an appetite for the defensive side of the contest. Bizuwu progressed through the French age-grade pathway before establishing himself among Pau's back-row options, where he is relied upon for turnover work and the structure he brings to the defensive line. At his best he is an abrasive presence over the ball, combining a low body height in the tackle with the stamina to maintain his output across eighty minutes. The Top 14 is among the most physically demanding competitions in the world, and Bizuwu's willingness to take on the grind of forward play has made him a dependable squad member. Still in his early twenties, he represents part of the next generation of forwards coming through at Pau, with the platform to develop into a regular starter as he adds experience and physical maturity to a game already grounded in hard work.
