Biography
Demba Bamba is a dynamic French tighthead prop born on 17 March 1998, who burst onto the scene as one of the most physically imposing young front-rowers in European rugby. Earning his first Les Bleus cap as a teenager, he has combined raw power at the scrum with genuine explosiveness in the loose. Bamba was part of the France squad that won the 2022 Six Nations Grand Slam, contributing scrummaging weight and ball-carrying threat to a side that returned to the top of the northern hemisphere game. His game stands out for the way he combines traditional tighthead set-piece work with the athletic, attacking instincts of a modern prop. At club and international level, Bamba continues to develop as a key component of the French front-row rotation. His combination of physical gifts, Test experience accumulated from a young age and ongoing technical growth makes him one of the more exciting tightheads in the global game.
