Biography
A product of Stade Toulousain's celebrated academy, Dimitri Delibes has spent his senior career at the most decorated club in European rugby. Born on 17 March 1999, the France-qualified back joined the Toulouse system in 2018 and developed primarily as a winger, while also offering cover across the back three and midfield in the expansive style for which the club is known.
Delibes has been part of one of the great eras in Toulouse's history, featuring in Top 14 and Champions Cup-winning squads as the club assembled a near-permanent grip on French and European silverware. He played a handful of Top 14 matches during the 2020-21 title-winning campaign and has remained in the wider squad through subsequent successes, contributing in a backline stacked with capped internationals.
His talent has not gone unnoticed at national level: Delibes was called into a France squad by head coach Fabien Galthie for the 2022 autumn internationals, underlining his standing among the country's outside-back options even as full Test recognition has remained elusive in a position of fierce competition. At Toulouse, his versatility and finishing continue to make him a useful rotation option in one of European rugby's deepest squads.
