Biography
Eamon Doyle is a young Australian back-rower making his way through the NSW Waratahs system. Born on 13 September 2005, he is a loose forward capable of covering across the back row, valued for the energy and versatility he brings to the contest. Doyle's game is rooted in physicality and a strong work ethic, qualities evident in his ball-carrying into contact and his appetite for defensive duties. At the breakdown he competes hard for turnover ball, while in the wider channels his mobility allows him to make tackles and link play. As one of the squad's emerging forwards, much of his focus remains on adding consistency and game understanding to a promising set of physical tools. The back row rewards relentless, unglamorous effort, and Doyle's willingness to do the unseen work has marked him as a name to follow in Australian rugby. With continued development, he carries the raw attributes to push for a regular role in Super Rugby Pacific, where the Waratahs continue to lean on home-grown talent to refresh their pack.
