Biography
A product of the Harlequins academy, Elliot Williams is a young English flanker progressing through the development ranks at the London club. Born on 19 May 2007, he is among the emerging forwards Harlequins are bringing through their celebrated pathway. Williams plays the game with the relentless energy expected of a modern openside. His work centres on the breakdown, competing for turnovers and securing quick ball, alongside aggressive defence and an appetite for carrying into contact. As a loose forward he is well suited to the fast, expansive style that has long been a hallmark of Harlequins rugby. At 19, Williams is at the stage where physical development and exposure to senior intensity will shape his trajectory. The step from age-grade and academy rugby to the demands of the Premiership is significant, and consistent performances at every level will be key to his progress. With a strong engine, a good understanding of the contact area and the ability to link forwards and backs, Elliot Williams is a forward Harlequins will be eager to develop as part of their long-term back-row planning.
