Biography

Enrique Pieretto Heiland is an Argentine tighthead prop born on 15 December 1994, who currently plies his trade with Zebre Parma in the United Rugby Championship. A powerful and abrasive scrummager, he earned his first Pumas cap in 2016 and has built his European career through spells with Glasgow Warriors and now in Italian rugby. Pieretto Heiland's game is defined by dogged set-piece work, uncompromising defence and the kind of durability demanded of a modern international tighthead. His time in the Scottish and Italian systems has exposed him to a wide range of scrummaging styles, helping to develop the technical discipline that underpins his play. At Zebre he provides crucial set-piece stability and senior experience in a squad aiming to close the gap on the URC's leading clubs. For Argentina, he represents a Test-hardened option in a front-row group that has long been one of the Pumas' strongest assets on the international stage.
