Biography
Finlay Bealham is an Australian-born tighthead prop who represents Ireland at international level. Born in Canberra on 9 October 1991, he qualifies for Ireland through his grandmother and has been a key figure at Connacht since joining the province early in his senior career.
A technically strong scrummager, Bealham has developed into one of Ireland's most trusted options at tighthead. He is respected for his work ethic, willingness to do the unseen work in tight, and ability to anchor a scrum against the most physical opponents in both hemispheres.
Bealham earned his first senior Ireland cap in 2016 and has since featured across major Six Nations and Rugby World Cup campaigns. He was part of the Ireland squad that won the Grand Slam in the 2023 Six Nations and travelled to the Rugby World Cup in France later that year.
At Connacht, Bealham is a cornerstone of the forward pack and a popular figure within the wider squad. His combination of experience, durability and set-piece reliability make him an important senior voice for both club and country.
