Biography
Still in the early phase of his senior career, Guido Reyes Rendon is a back-row forward at Section Paloise in France's Top 14, having been born on 18 July 2005. An openside-style loose forward, his game revolves around the demanding and often unseen work that defines the position: contesting the breakdown, chasing turnovers and maintaining a heavy tackle count across the full eighty minutes. The modern flanker is asked to act as a tireless link between defence and attack, and Reyes Rendon fits that profile as a mobile forward who looks to influence matches through sheer volume of work in the loose. He belongs to the next generation of forwards developing within one of the most physically demanding leagues in world rugby. At Pau he trains inside a pack that prizes abrasive, high-tempo play — an environment well suited to a young back-rower learning his trade. As is typical for emerging players, his development centres on adding consistency and physical maturity to the natural energy that earns academy graduates their first opportunities. The challenge ahead is to establish himself as a regular contributor and turn early promise into a settled role in the Section Paloise back row.
