Biography
Born on 22 November 1999, Harry Wilson is an Australian back-row forward who has established himself as one of the Queensland Reds' most influential figures and a regular in the Wallabies set-up. A powerful ball-carrier with a high work rate, he is valued for the go-forward momentum he generates and for the offloading skills that make him a natural link between the forwards and the backs. Wilson was part of the Reds squad that claimed the Super Rugby AU title in 2021, the same year he earned his Test debut for Australia. Combining genuine size with surprising mobility, he is equally effective carrying into contact and supporting in the wider channels, and he has developed into a forward who can influence a contest at both ends of the pitch. His ability to win collisions, hit rucks and contribute in the lineout adds versatility to his all-round game. The leadership qualities he has shown have seen him entrusted with growing responsibility within both the provincial and national set-ups, and he remains a central figure around whom much of the Reds' forward play is built.
