Biography
Sharp acceleration and a counter-attacking threat make Jac Lloyd one of the more exciting back-three prospects at the Dragons. Born on 28 September 2002, he has progressed through the Welsh age-grade pathway and is steadily establishing himself in the professional game. Lloyd's standout asset is his pace, which allows him to break the line and turn half-chances into genuine attacking opportunities, while his footwork makes him a difficult man to pin down in space. He is equally comfortable across the back three, giving the Dragons a flexible option who can cover wing or fullback as required. Often deployed as an impact player, he brings fresh legs and game-breaking speed to the latter stages of matches, when tiring defences are most vulnerable to his running. His defensive work is improving in step with his attacking game, and he applies himself well under the high ball and in the cover. A promising talent with clear room to grow, Lloyd represents an encouraging part of the Dragons' backline depth and a player worth watching as his career develops.
