Biography

Jack Walker is an English hooker who has been part of the Harlequins front row since joining the club in 2021. Born on 6 May 1996, Walker made an early breakthrough with Yorkshire Carnegie as a teenager before spending five seasons at Bath between 2016 and 2021, making more than 80 appearances and establishing himself as a quality set-piece operator. His move to Harlequins added depth and competition to the London club's hooking options. Known for his accurate lineout throwing and his mobility around the park, Walker offers the dynamism that modern hookers are increasingly required to bring in the loose. His form earned international recognition when he made his England debut against Italy in the 2023 Six Nations, and he was subsequently named in England's squad for the 2023 Rugby World Cup. Earlier in his career he was part of England's victorious under-20 side at the 2014 World Rugby Under-20 Championship. At Harlequins, he remains a reliable presence at the heart of the forward effort, valued for his throwing accuracy and work rate.
