Biography

An attacking threat in the Dragons' back three, Jared Rosser is a Welsh outside back known for his pace and finishing. Born in Wales on 31 December 1997, he operates primarily on the wing, where his speed and strength make him a dangerous runner once the ball reaches the edges. Rosser looks to beat defenders one-on-one, hunts for work off his wing to get involved in the game, and uses his physical frame to gain hard metres in contact. Defensively he is asked to cover the back field and front up under the high ball, the all-round demands placed on the modern wing. As an attacking outlet for the Dragons, he offers a combination of footwork and finishing ability that can turn possession into points. His willingness to come off his wing and inject himself into midfield phases adds an extra dimension to the region's attack, while his aerial work and kick-chase contribute to the team's wider game. Quick, direct and committed in defence, Rosser remains a regular threat out wide and a reliable option whenever the Dragons look to stretch a defence.
