Biography

At RC Toulon, Jeremy Paul Toevalu is cutting his teeth in one of the most demanding environments in club rugby. A flanker born on 16 March 2005, he is at the early stage of his senior career with one of the Top 14's most storied sides. His role is built around the defensive and breakdown work that defines the position: making tackles, competing for turnover ball and offering support in open play. Toulon have a long tradition of fielding powerful, combative packs, and that culture provides a strong grounding for a young forward learning the physical demands of the professional game. For a player at his stage, the priority is to accumulate experience and to translate the energy and athleticism typical of emerging back-rowers into consistent, reliable performance. Toevalu's development centres on adding maturity to his game and earning the trust required to feature regularly in a competitive forward unit. As he grows into the senior setup, his aim will be to establish himself as a dependable contributor at a club that expects to challenge for domestic and European honours. The learning curve is steep, but the surroundings are ideal for a back-rower intent on making his mark.
