Biography
A capped England international, Joe Marchant is one of the more established names to feature in this group, an outside centre known for his sharp line-running, pace and robust defence. Born on 16 July 1996, Marchant came through the Harlequins academy and won the Gallagher Premiership title with the London club in 2021 before moving to France to join Stade Français Paris. Across his career he has earned multiple caps for England, bringing international experience and defensive organisation to every backline he features in. His game blends the physicality to hold the defensive line in midfield with the footwork and timing to act as an attacking threat, whether straightening the attack or providing width. At Stade Français he offers proven top-level quality, a reliable organiser whose experience at Test and Premiership level makes him a valuable presence in the centres for one of the Top 14's historic clubs.
