Biography
A product of the Ospreys' academy, Keelan Giles built his reputation as one of Welsh rugby's most exciting young finishers. The winger, born on 29 January 1998, made his name with a remarkable strike rate at age-grade level, where his acceleration and footwork marked him out as a prodigious try-scorer. That promise carried into the United Rugby Championship, where his ability to beat defenders in tight spaces became a feature of the Ospreys' attack. A series of injuries interrupted his rise during his early twenties, testing his resilience as much as his talent. At his best, Giles is a classic out-and-out wing: quick off the mark, dangerous in broken play and a constant threat to exploit any gap in a defensive line. His role is to provide width and a cutting edge on the flank, turning half-chances into points and offering the Ospreys an attacking spark whenever the ball reaches the touchline.
