Zas is a powerful carrier as well as an out-and-out finisher, capable of beating defenders on the outside or breaking tackles through contact when space is tight. Within the Stormers' backline he provides a reliable scoring option out wide, the kind of wing a side looks to when it needs to convert pressure into points. His blend of size and acceleration also makes him a useful presence under the high ball and in the carry from deep.
