Luke Brittain Jacobson

Luke Jacobson, born 20 April 1997 in New Zealand, is a back-row forward who plays his Super Rugby for the Chiefs and has earned international recognition with the All Blacks. He made his test debut for New Zealand in 2019 and was named in the Rugby World Cup squad, with the All Blacks going on to finish as runners-up at the 2023 tournament in France. At club level, Jacobson is a long-serving Chiefs forward whose game is built around hard, direct carrying through traffic, work over the ball at the breakdown, and physical defensive contributions across the loose forwards. He is comfortable operating across the back row and has frequently been deployed at blindside flanker for both the Chiefs and the national side.
