Marno Grobbelaar

Marno Grobbelaar is a young front-row forward making his way at the Lions in Johannesburg. Born on 10 September 2003, the South African hooker is part of a new generation coming through at the union, bringing the physicality and set-piece focus the position demands. As a hooker, the core of Grobbelaar's job lies in the tight exchanges: throwing accurately at the lineout, providing power and technique at scrum time and getting through a heavy workload of carries and tackles in the loose.
