Biography
Born on 29 March 2002, Mason Grady has emerged as one of Welsh rugby's most exciting young backs. Equally comfortable at outside centre or on the wing, the Wales international is defined by his rangy frame, explosive acceleration and a direct running game that stretches defences and helps his side cross the gain line. He earned his first senior cap during the 2023 Six Nations and went on to be named in Wales' squad for the 2023 Rugby World Cup, a swift rise that underlined the faith coaches placed in his attacking potential. Grady's combination of size and footwork allows him to operate as a genuine strike runner, breaking the first line of defence and creating space for those outside him. As he continues to add consistency and game management to his natural athleticism, he is regarded as a long-term option across the Welsh midfield and back three, capable of providing both impact off the bench and reliability in the starting XV.
