Biography
A product of the Leinster academy, Michael Milne is an Irish prop who has worked his way through the provincial system to become a senior front-row option. Born on 5 February 1999, he has developed into a reliable scrummager with an engine tailored to the demands of the modern game.
Milne's game is anchored by his set-piece work. He is a technically sound scrummager who holds his body position well under pressure, allowing his pack to build a stable platform. In open play he is a willing carrier over short distances and a consistent contributor at the breakdown and in defensive line speed, the kind of fundamentals modern Irish forward coaches prize.
His pathway through Leinster's system has given him exposure to United Rugby Championship and Champions Cup rugby at one of the most demanding clubs in Europe, accelerating his development alongside senior internationals. That daily training environment has helped shape the professionalism he brings to matchdays.
Milne has also been involved with Ireland squads, adding international exposure to his growing résumé. As the province continues to plan for long-term front-row depth, he represents part of the next wave of Irish propping talent stepping up from academy foundations toward sustained senior selection.
