Biography
Mosese Tuipulotu, born in May 2001, is an Australian-born centre representing Edinburgh Rugby in the United Rugby Championship. The younger brother of Scotland international Sione Tuipulotu, Mosese joined the Scottish capital club in 2023, following a family pathway that has linked the Tuipulotu name to Scottish rugby. Capable of operating at either inside or outside centre, he brings a powerful, direct running game to the Edinburgh midfield, with the physical profile expected of a modern Test-level centre. He has represented Scotland at age-grade level, reflecting the dual eligibility that has become a feature of his family's rugby story. At Edinburgh, Tuipulotu has formed part of a backline that the coaching staff have sought to make one of the most dangerous in the URC, with his ball-carrying providing front-foot platform for outside backs to operate from. His development continues alongside that of his more capped older brother within the wider Scotland set-up, and he remains one of Edinburgh's longer-term midfield projects.
