Nathan Decron

A product of the Section Paloise youth system, Nathan Decron is a French forward born on 17 February 1998. Physical and hard-working, he developed through the club's academy and has been a key figure for the Espoirs, Pau's reserve side, where his robust style and reliability at the set piece provide important depth to the senior squad. Decron's game is built on the unglamorous fundamentals of forward play: scrummaging, contact work and a willingness to do the heavy lifting that holds a pack together. Continuing to develop with Pau, he is working to push for regular involvement in the Top 14, France's leading and physically uncompromising domestic competition. For a forward emerging from the academy ranks, the path to consistent senior selection runs through strong performances at reserve level and readiness whenever first-team opportunities arise.
