Biography

Still a teenager, Noam Moreau is a flanker in the early stages of his development at RC Toulon. Born on 31 August 2007, he is one of the youngest forwards associated with a club that ranks among the heavyweights of French rugby. As a flanker, his game is centred on the contact area: contesting the breakdown, getting through defensive work and supporting play in the loose, the staple responsibilities of an openside-style back-rower. For a player of his age, being part of the environment at a club of Toulon's standing is a significant step, offering exposure to professional standards and the chance to learn from experienced campaigners. Toulon's tradition of building strong, physical forward packs provides a demanding but valuable setting for a young back-rower to grow. At this point in his career, the emphasis is firmly on development, adding physical maturity, consistency and game understanding to the natural athleticism that marks out promising young forwards. Moreau's path is that of a prospect working to make the step up, with the long-term goal of pushing toward senior opportunities within a competitive and deep Toulon squad.
