Biography
Oliver Kebble is a powerful South African prop who has become a long-serving member of the Stormers front-row picture. Born on 18 June 1992, he debuted at senior level in 2015 and has since accumulated a significant body of work in the Currie Cup, Super Rugby and United Rugby Championship environments.
Kebble's game is built around formidable scrum work. He is a broad-based, technically disciplined prop who holds his body position well under load, giving his hookers a consistent platform to throw and strike from. Around the field he contributes strong, direct ball-carrying in the tight channels and the kind of heavy defensive involvements that define senior front-row forwards through the grind of a long URC season.
He was part of the Stormers squad that lifted the inaugural United Rugby Championship title in 2022, a landmark moment in the club's modern history and a highlight of a consistent senior career. That success underlined the standing he had built within the Cape Town pack and the standards the club had set in its forward play.
As a senior prop in the Stormers rotation, Kebble offers set-piece stability, physical presence and the kind of experienced voice coaching groups trust across a long URC and European campaign. His combination of scrum reliability and collision willingness has made him a dependable rotational figure in one of South African rugby's most recognisable packs.
