Paolo Buonfiglio

Paolo Buonfiglio, born on 28 January 1995, is an Italian back-row forward who has come through his country's national academy system to establish himself with Zebre Rugby in the United Rugby Championship. A flanker by trade, Buonfiglio is valued for the aggression he brings to the contact area, hunting turnovers at the breakdown and throwing himself into the defensive line with conviction. His appeal to coaches lies in his reliability rather than flash: he completes his tackles, competes for every ruck and provides the kind of abrasive presence that allows a pack to slow opposition ball and build pressure.
