Biography

Peni Ravai, born on 16 June 1990, is an experienced Fijian loosehead prop renowned for his powerful scrummaging and dynamic ball-carrying in the loose. A long-serving Flying Fijians international, he has become a senior figure in the Fijian Drua front row, bringing Test-level know-how to one of the most exciting franchises in Super Rugby Pacific. Ravai featured for Fiji at both the 2019 and 2023 Rugby World Cups, contributing to a national side that has progressively established itself as a serious force in the global game. His career has taken him through professional rugby in France and the Pacific, building a body of experience that makes him one of Fiji's most recognisable front-row forwards. His game blends raw physicality at the scrum with the offloading instincts that define Fijian rugby, allowing him to contribute in attack as well as the set-piece.
