Pierre Schoeman

Few looseheads in the URC combine physical edge and relentless work rate quite like Pierre Schoeman. Born on 7 May 1994, the South African-born prop moved to Edinburgh Rugby in 2018 and became Scotland-qualified in 2021, quickly establishing himself as a fixture in both club and national front rows. Schoeman's game is built on intensity. He scrums with aggression and technical discipline, offering Edinburgh a powerful loosehead anchor, and he pairs that set-piece work with an uncommonly high involvement count in the loose.
