Biography

Rabah Slimani is a long-serving French international tighthead prop, born on 18 October 1989, whose career has made him one of the most capped French front-rowers of his era. Best known for his time at Stade Francais and Clermont, he built his reputation in the unforgiving scrummaging environment of the Top 14. Slimani is a classical French tighthead: strong at set-piece, powerful in the collision, and experienced enough to manage the dark arts of front-row play against any opponent. He won a Top 14 title with Clermont and was a regular selection for Les Bleus across multiple coaching regimes. With more than 50 caps for France across his Test career, Slimani stands as a senior figure in French front-row tradition, valued for both his scrummaging and his durability at the top level.
