Reuben Logan

A back-rower with rugby in his blood, Reuben Logan was born on 28 July 2005 into a well-known sporting family — his father is former Scotland international Kenny Logan and his mother is broadcaster Gabby Logan. Logan has set out to make his own way in the professional game, coming through the Midlands Central Academy before joining Northampton Saints and then agreeing a move to Sale Sharks. Comfortable anywhere across the back row, he is a physical forward who can operate at flanker or number eight, bringing ball-carrying punch and a willingness to do the hard graft at the breakdown and in defence. At age-grade level he represented England Under-18s before switching to Scotland for the Under-20 Six Nations, where he started at number eight — a reflection of both his dual eligibility and his standing as one of the more promising young loose forwards in the British game. Still in the early stages of his career at Sale, Logan profiles as a developing talent whose size, mobility and versatility give his coaches plenty of options.
