Sam Scarfe

A product of the Dragons' development system, Sam Scarfe is a Welsh flanker born on 23 August 2003. Operating in the United Rugby Championship with his home region, he fits the mould of an openside whose value lies in defensive intensity and a willing presence at the breakdown. Scarfe's game is built on work rate — chasing tackles, contesting rucks and providing the kind of forward graft that underpins a pack's defensive structure.
