Biography

Samuel Ezeala brings genuine power and explosiveness to the wing for Stade Français Paris, where his pace and direct ball-carrying make him a constant attacking threat. Born on 11 December 1999, Ezeala built his early reputation in French rugby before switching his international allegiance to Spain, for whom he has been capped. Earlier in his career he came through the system at Clermont, and that grounding in the Top 14 shows in the physicality he brings to the contact area. A finisher in every sense, he uses his strength to beat defenders one-on-one and to carry hard into traffic, offering Stade Français a powerful outlet on the flank. Beyond his finishing, Ezeala contributes in defence and in the aerial contest, rounding out a back-three skill set suited to the demands of the French top flight. With his combination of size, speed and international experience, he provides his club with both a scoring threat and a reliable presence out wide, and remains an important attacking weapon in the Stade Français backline.
