Seb Calder

A product of the Crusaders' renowned development pathway, Seb Calder has grown into a dependable tighthead prop within one of Super Rugby's most demanding forward packs. Born on 16 March 2002, the New Zealander joined the Crusaders Academy in 2021 before making his senior debut the following season against the Western Force. Since then he has steadily increased his involvement, becoming a regular part of the matchday squad while also turning out for Canterbury in the NPC. Calder's game is built on the core duties of a modern front-rower: a stable scrummaging platform, willing work around the field, and an appetite for the heavy collisions that define forward play in the southern hemisphere.
