Sitiveni Sivivatu

Sitiveni Sivivatu is a retired Fijian-born rugby union winger, born on 19 April 1982, remembered as one of the most explosive attacking talents of his generation. Blessed with rare power, footwork and acceleration, he announced himself on the world stage with the New Zealand All Blacks, for whom he became a prolific try-scorer and one of the most feared finishers in the international game during the mid-2000s. His ability to beat defenders in the smallest of spaces, allied to genuine strength in contact, made him a constant threat from anywhere on the field. After his Test career he took his talents to France, where he continued to entertain in the Top 14, most notably with Clermont Auvergne. As a winger his role was simple and devastating: to turn limited opportunities into tries. He is fondly regarded as one of the great Pacific Island attackers to grace the modern game.
