Biography

Few young wingers in Super Rugby Pacific have generated as much quiet optimism as Stanley Solomon, an emerging outside back making his mark in the Highlanders' backline. Born on 5 April 2005, he is one of the younger players in the competition and is regarded as a promising prospect for the future. Solomon's game is built on pace and a sharp finishing instinct, attributes that allow him to threaten defences out wide and capitalise on space whenever it opens up. He pairs his attacking spark with a willing defensive work rate, tracking back and competing for possession to support his side without the ball. As a developing player, his role with the Highlanders is to provide energy, depth and an attacking option on the wing while he continues to add to his physical and tactical game at the professional level. Solomon represents part of the next generation of New Zealand back-three talent and will look to cement a more regular role as his career progresses.
