Steffan Emanuel

A product of the Cardiff Rugby academy, Steffan Emanuel is a young Welsh back beginning to make his way in the professional game. Born on 1 July 2006, he has emerged through the region's development pathway and is highly regarded for his pace, evasive running and assurance under the high ball. Emanuel's versatility is one of his most valuable assets, with the ability to cover several positions across the back line from full-back to wing. As he gains experience in the United Rugby Championship, his challenge is to add the physical edge and decision-making required to compete consistently at senior level. For a player still in the formative years of his career, he has shown enough promise to suggest a bright future, and Cardiff will be keen to give him the platform to develop. He represents part of a new wave of Welsh talent the region hopes to build around in the seasons ahead.
