Biography
At just 18, Taimana Ah Scha is among the youngest forwards on Section Paloise's roster, an emerging flanker with his career still very much ahead of him. Born on 23 July 2007, he represents the kind of raw, developing talent that French clubs increasingly look to nurture through their academy systems. Ah Scha is a back-row forward whose game is founded on energy, a willingness to tackle and a desire to compete at the breakdown. At this formative stage, his focus is on the steady accumulation of experience and physical development needed to bridge the gap between promising youngster and senior professional. Coming through at the Pau-based club, he is learning his trade in the demanding environment of French rugby, where forward play is uncompromising and young players must earn their stripes against hardened opponents. The journey from academy prospect to regular first-teamer is a long one, but Ah Scha has time on his side and the foundations of a useful loose forward to build upon. As he matures physically and technically, Section Paloise will be hopeful that the teenager can develop into a genuine option for the senior squad in the years to come.
